Photo Description	Niueans love their fiafias (parties, celebrations.) The kids from my village, Avatele, are dressed here for their dance performance for a village celebration. I think this particular one was celebrating the accomplishments of 2 Avatele villagers- one in the Miss Niue pageant and one winning an international weight lifting competition. The kids practiced routines for days and the mothers made their outfits and it was a fabulous night!
