Photo Description	This photo was taken during the Annual National Youth Celebration Day in Niue, South Pacific. The youth from many villages made their own rafts and raced them in the ocean (our raft won!) Another part of the day was a ladies' and men's vaka canoe race, which is shown here. The vaka is a traditional, handmade outrigger canoe that the men use for fishing, usually daily. They are beautiful! I snapped this photo of Jay Jay, a youth from my village) before the race started.
