Photo Description	This photo was taken in the Spring of 2007 on the Island of Santo Antao, in the Cape Verde Islands, West Africa. As a Peace Corps volunteer in Cape Verde, I participated in a hiking group formed by a group of Host Country Nationals. My Cape Verdean friends planned hikes every Sunday morning starting at 6 am! This particular weekend, we traveled to a neighboring island via ferry and hiked into a valley where these young boys were running through the path toward their home.
