This was taken at the Kayanza Market in Burundi. Almost every weekend I would walk from my house to the market which was on a hillside. I used to purchase baskets from the women who sold in the market. They got to know me very well and it was a way of practicing my Kirundi. When I bought a basket (they usually cost about 500 Burundi Francs or about $2.00) I took a picture of the woman who made the basket.
