Photo Description	These are the children of the Kirundi Translator, Emmanuel. Although we learned French, out in the countryside they spoke mostly Kirundi. I learned some Kirundi but not enough to be able to speak technically. Emmanuel was very poor and I remember several times talking to farmers and he used to keep his motorcycle helmet on his head as he was talking to the farmers (he rode on the back of my motorcycle). Gahombo, Burundi.
