Photo Description	This photo was taken in August 2009 in Comrat, the capital of Moldova's semi-autonomous region of Gagauzia. Moldovan villages are full of similarly brightly painted houses. Given the harsh winters that Moldova is known for, some Moldovans use bright colored paints to cheer up their towns. This house is constructed of concrete bricks like most homes in Moldova which helps keep them cool during the summer.
