Photo Description	After planting rice at the annual Saemaul Volunteer Day, there was a picnic. This is a photo of Mr. Joe, my counterpart at the county health center in Tongyeong County, spring 1976. Makali was drunk out of a bowl, which when emptied was passed to someone else and refilled, as a gesture of friendship.
