Photo Description	This photo was taken in Tongyeong County in the spring of 1976. Government workers were encouraged to spend a day planting rice as part of the "New Village Movement" or Saemaeul. The program was designed to boost the economic developement of rural villages. There was kim bap and makali (rice and seawead rolls and farmers rice wine) after poking rice seedlings down into the cool mud. Pictured are the nurses and office workers from the county health center, Mr. Byun O Cap center.
