Photo Description	This photo was taken sometime during Pchum Ben 2010 (Sept. 18-20), in my host mom's outdoor kitchen. They live in a small Village in Cambodia. She and my host pa are rice farmers. The preparations for this celebration were particularly poignant as we were also preparing for my departure to my permanent site. My mother was quite worried that I wouldn't eat enough rice and that my permanent host family would not take care of me. In this photo she proudly shows a favorite American product. Me, Ma, and Pa had a cup of coffee every morning before he went out to the fields and I biked off to my daily Khmer language lesson.
