Photo Description	This photo was taken in Ukraine in April 2010. During my 2.5 months of training I have stayed with a host family. This is a photo of my host mother and me at her 50th birthday party, complete with food and gifts. We ate dinner twice, and I felt as full as at a Thanksgiving dinner! In a short amount of time I've grown very close to my mama. It is amazing how much support I feel from her though I'm still learning the language. The first time my dad called from America I was very overwhelmed. My mama came to my room and told me, "You are here for two years. Be a strong girl. Be patient." It was wonderful advice and exactly what I needed to hear... just like a mama.
