Photo Description	I took this photo in July 2011 at a summer camp for at-risk youth infected and affected by HIV in Ukraine. Camp OHALOW (Overcoming HIV And Leading Our World) is a week-long HIV leadership camp where kids aged 10-13 have an opportunity to experience traditional summer camp-- to play games, sing songs, do arts and crafts, and simply live as a typical kid for a week. Camp OHALOW gives kids the opportunity to learn more about managing their lives with HIV/AIDS while instilling in these children the confidence and leadership skills necessary to leave camp and continue a meaningful life through which they can contribute something positive to their villages. In this photo one of artists takes a break from painting a red-ribbon on a banner. Campers worked together to design three unique banners that display what a Ukraine free of HIV looks like. These banners were then displayed in the NGO “All Ukrainian Network of People Living with HIV” in Rivne to help raise awareness about HIV and Camp OHALOW.
