This photo was taken in Capiata, Paraguay - a community located one hour outside the capitol. Often, it is referred to as a "dormotorio" community, or a place where you sleep, as the majority of the residents commute into the capitol for work. This is an HIV and AIDS prevention education workshop in which youth leaders, local nursing students and police cadets were invited to learn. As the goal is to train the students to repeat the information they've learned to their peer group, and the audience was generally young, we attempted to make our curriculum as interactive and fun as possible. Because, at the end of the day, they're really just kids, and the adults are kids at heart! Everyone likes to laugh while they learn!
