Photo Description	I'm submitting this photo in honor of Valentine's Day approaching, and it shows my husband and I overlooking his beautiful hometown where I served my time in the Peace Corps. I met my husband in late 2004 when I was volunteering in Sao Nicolau, Cape Verde. I was sent to live and teach in his hometown of Vila di Ribeira Brava. It was instantaneous love from the beginning, and sharing my time in the Peace Corps with Fernando and his family made my experience beyond incredible. Fernando joined me in the United States in early 2007 and we married a couple of weeks later. We are now expecting our first child in 4 more months, and he is still nha verdadeiro amor. <3
