What has been hailed as the "all-American" sport became quite popular at my primary school in Onayena, Namibia. I served as a PCV from 2008-10, during which time I taught grade 5-6 students how to play using a foam bat and wiffle ball set I found in the capital city. It didn't take long before both boys and girls fell in love with the sport- one boy told me he wanted to play for the Atlanta Braves when he grows up (my favorite team)!
