Photo Title	Taking Flight
Photo Description	This photo was taken in the town of Teppi, in Ilubabor Province of Ethiopia in 1974. At my school there had been a big grassy knoll that separated the football field from the local airstrip. During an intensive clean up day at the school we cleared the brush on that grassy knoll and discovered the wreck of an Ethiopian Airlines plane that had crashed on takeoff many years earlier. In this photo, some of my fellow teachers posed with me.
