Photo Description	BOTS5- His Excellency Festus Mogae was unable to attend our COS due to a previous engagement. That evening in the hotel where we were staying, His Excellency was attending a meeting. After much thought, and with Volunteer Pilar's support, I decided to slip the President a note (via a policeman) asking for time in his schedule that we may give him an appropriate thank you for our time served. His office called the following day to scheduled an appointment for that afternoon. Our entire group and Peace Corps staff met with His Excellency in his stateroom. His Excellency personally thanked each Volunteer for their contribution to the betterment of his country.
