Photo Description	On market day in my town, Kirikhan, in southeastern Turkey, villagers sold produce like dried beans or eggplant, fresh tomatoes, onions, and green beans. I had never seen an open market like this with women wearing colorful shalvars, baggy pants comfortable for squatting. In this area of Turkey, there were many different ethnic groups including Arabs, Kurds, Armenians and of course, Turks.
