Photo Description	This picture was taken at a rural school near Hualpin in southern Chile in 1967. The children in this rural school were participating in an agricultural demonstration plot that was part of a Peace Corps ag development project. The test plot was being created to show the difference between the natural forages and improved forage with and without fertilizers. The teacher at this one room school was trying to involve the children in the test plot and through them help their parents learn about agriculture. Most of the children lived on the Mapuche reservation on the nearby island.
