A principal is giving out tickets to the students who were speaking to him in English. The tickets are part of SEED (Speak English Every Day) which was established by Volunteer Carla Arnold and her counterpart Ning Saijung in March 2011. A written dialogue is posted around the school every week to encourage the 200 students to speak English. Every Monday winning tickets are drawn and prizes (pencils, pens, erasers, cookies, etc.) are given out, including a prize to the teacher. At the end of the term, a drawing for an electronic language dictionary and bicycle will be held for those students who collected 10 or more tickets a week.
