It was 2003 and the end of my service in Mlangeni, Malawi. I had worked hard, especially with the youth raising awareness regarding HIV/AIDS and facilitating a rural volunteer counseling and testing program. All of these faces were a part of the hard work that was done (even the young ones), and the hard work that continues today. I was happy for the success that had been accomplished but so sad to leave my Malawian family I had gained over the two years.
