Photo Description	I'm from Kansas. In fact, I have a blog called, "A Kansas City Gal in Moldova". Kansas is called "the Sunflower State". What I didn't know about Moldova prior to coming here was that it, too, is well-known for it's production of sunflowers. Everyone is constantly eating sunflower seeds, and most of the food is cooked or prepared with sunflower oil. The landscape of beautifully rolling hills is a blanket of bright yellow in the summer. So while I may be thousands and thousands of miles away from home, all I have to do is walk a few minutes in the summer and I'll be in a sunflower field, where once again I can be reminded that home is where the heart is (and my heart is in a field of sunflowers).
