Photo Title	Guests in class!
Photo Description	This photo was taken in the summer of 2011, when my mother (pictured on the left), and my friend Katya and her husband Patrick (pictured on the right) came to visit me in my second site, a municipality located in the Old Mountains, just to the east of Sofia. I introduced them to my students and took them to my classroom, and in this way we were able to share cultures; they talked to my students about the culture and customs in the United States and (through my attempts to translate!) my students told my family about Bulgarian culture and traditions. My students in the Girls' Club sang a song in English and practiced a dance for my family, and all in all we had a terrific time!
