Photo Description	Pohnpeians can harvest sumwomw -- trochus, a species of sea snail highly valued for its shell -- only one week every year. Pictured here is my host father holding up his catch. Playing hookie from school and accompanying my host family on this outing was one of my best memories with them. This image is very precious to me because my host father passed away 8 months after it was taken of complications from a stroke. May 2010
