Photo Description	This picture was taken April 28, 2011 along the banks of the Niger river in Mali. I was out on the banks with my women's association dyeing bazaan material, and caught this brother and sister pair resting under the shade of a pirogue. A pirogue is a small, flat-bottomed boat traditionally used in West Africa as fishing boats. They were waiting for their sister to finish the family's laundry.
