Photo Description	This photo was taken in August, 2011 in Qinghai, China at Qinghai Lake, one of China's largest saltwater lakes. PCVs were visiting Qinghai Lake when they were invited to a local family's home to sample some local foods. In the photo, PCVs are drinking yak milk tea. Other local foods included yak yogurt and tsampa, a barley flour mixed with the last bit of butter tea into a soft dough. It’s eaten for the same purpose as rice in the rest of China — at the end of a meal, to ensure that everyone gets full.
