Photo Description	Although tanks of natural gas are available in this small pueblito in Queretaro, Mexico, families here still cook on open wood fires to a large extent. Trucks selling gas make themselves noisily known as they drive through town with music blaring (much like US ice cream trucks in days past). This dog will soon bear 13 puppies, most of which could later be seen scattered throughout town with new owners. Curiously, pet dogs are loved and cared for, whereas strays are considered as vermin.
