The people seen here are part of large farming family from a small pueblito in Queretaro, Mexico. They go out together to their milpa in the country every Sunday to do whatever is needed to raise maize, peppers, beans, squash, and marigolds (for religious celebrations) on their small area of farmland. Whatever is left after personal consumption is sold in local markets.
Here, we are picking chilies from rows of pepper plants while constantly talking, laughing and joking. Whatever conversation you find yourself in depends on how far (and how fast) you get along your row.
