Photo Description	During our training, Peace Corps Kazakhstan decided to take us on an outting to reward us for all of our hardwork and dedication to the program. We were brought to Medeu, a mountainous region outside of Almaty. It is known for its skating facility where the Olympics were held. After trecking up the side of a large hill (we were told that there were over 200 stairs!) we came across a man with his eagle. While it seems like a very tourist-y thing to do, we all have our pictures taken with the giant eagle on our arms. This picture of Susanna Ebiasah is my favorite, as she looks like a goddess standing against the beautiful Medeu mountains with an eagle resting on her arm.
