Photo Description	A juvenile sea turtle, wrapped in a sleeping bag, is being transported to Pedra Badejo, a port town on the island of Santiago, to be released. The turtle was purchased from a fisherman by an environmentally conscious resident at the start of the nesting season (June 2011). PCV Jon E. Berg served as the project manager for the “Nha Terra” campaign, an island-wide campaign with the goal of reducing the consumption of sea turtle meat, on behalf of TAOLA (Cape Verde Sea Turtle Protection Network).
