Photo Description	A wonderful Christmas tradition in hot December LESOTHO were dance competitions, where teens of two towns competed against one another for a title of best dancers. In 2008, these teens in Ha Makebe, not too far from the capital city of Maseru, had practiced no less than 17 dance routines for a full month preceding. The moms sewed matching outfits, the leaders blew a whistle to indicate upcoming changes, and music was live on an electric piano. The blue sky and distant mountains enhanced the energy coming from the dancers and small ring of spectators.
