Photo Description	A village on the west coast of Madagascar, July 2nd, 2011. It’s Saturday morning, it’s market day in the village. The only day when we can find vegetables apart from “feliki”(a green), and tomatoes, thanks to the saleswomen from Ambanja, the main city north of the village who come to sell their produce. Market day is a busy day; a lot of people come from the nearby villages. It’s especially busy between June and September; especially busy in July. That’s when the people have the most money. They have been able to sell most of their crops. They harvested rice in April and May, vanilla in May and June, and are harvesting coffee. From December to April of the following year, the market won’t be as busy, because the people won’t have money.
