A village on the West coast of Madagascar, July 30th, 2011. It’s Sunday morning. It’s a long weekend at the protestant church, a fun weekend. The party went on Saturday evening, all night, and is still going on. The people are celebrating the construction of the new church. A concrete brick building now replaces the old ravinala one, which looked like if it were made out of bamboo. It’s around 10:00am. The Sunday service has started, lots of people are inside and outside the church. Yet, there are also a lot of women, men and children still preparing the food for the afternoon, for when the service will be over, around 2:00pm. It will finish around 4:30pm.
