Photo Description	This photo is taken on the Rio Napo in Ecuador. A leaf called 'barbasco' is traditionally used as a fishing technique, as it consumes the oxygen in the water through its natural toxins and the fish die. The crushed leaf is released in the water upstream and within minutes fish are floating down to hands eager to collect. Carmen and her wawakuna (kids) are collecting the dead fish to cook for dinner.
