Photo Description	This photo was taken during a Phagwah celebration in the spring of 2007. This holiday is mainly celebrated by the Hindu Indo-Guyanese population in Guyana to celebrate the trumiph of good over evil. On this day the village people of Canal #1, Region 3, Guyana wore white clothing and threw colored water and powder, while marching from house to house singing, beating drums and eating the traditional food and drink.
