This is a photo of the compound I lived in behind the Petchburi Teacher's College. It was quite nice. Volunteers Ron and Julie (Thai 35) lived in the house on the left. Volunteer Beth (Thai 35) lived in the railroad car next to the house. I lived in the other railroad car. The railroad cars were nice however there was only one door at the front and the kitchen was at the front with a propane tank. There are bars on the windows. It never occurred to me that if there was a fire in the kitchen I would never have been able to get out. Mai pen rai.
