Photo Description	This photo was taken in August of 2010 in the community of Tomas in the Peruvian Andes. Through my time as a Peace Corps Volunteer, I befriended a local family who regularly invited me to share meals with them and partake in family gatherings with them. Through the time I spent with them, I grew especially fond of their granddaughter. So, when my brother came to visit me from the United States, he brought with him some clothes for her--a little hooded sweatshirt and some flowered pants. This picture, taken by my friends, shows me holding their granddaughter as she models her brand new outfit--a gift from my American family for my new Peruvian family!
