Photo Description	This photo was taken on National Mozambican Women's Day, April 7th, 2010. This is a day where all women are commemorated in Mozambique, which is important in Mozambique's struggle to gain gender equality. Pictured is a young woman teacher trainee from a teacher training institute in Maputo Province singing with a traditional mask on her face in honor of Women's Day. By allowing the teacher trainees to celebrate their womanhood and honor and appreciate women, they will be passing on this appreciation of and respect for women to their future students.
