Photo Description	This photo was taken on June 10, 2007 in Chernihiv, Ukraine. Our group of community development Volunteers decided to conclude our three months of training by inviting our host families to a picnic. Ukrainians and Volunteers mingled around a picnic spread featuring both authentic Ukrainian dishes (potato dumplings, crepes, cold meats, etc.), as well as some American favorites (including chili!). My Ukrainian host sister and I prepared two apple pies, a task that required making everything from scratch in a country that doesn't even have pie dishes! It was a big hit!
