This is a photo from our Halloween party at Ban Nern Saothong School in November 2010. We had a mummy wrapping contest during which one student had to wrap up another student as fast as he could with toilet paper. The student on the left, Beyt, is wearing a "pasin" which is a multi-functional cloth in Thailand that can be worn as a cover up getting out of the shower but also is worn as a skirt by the old women in the village. Beyt is dressed up as "yai" (grandmother). Ja is on the right and is also dressed as a "yai" but is so well wrapped as a mummy that you can't see.
