We had a belated Halloween party in November 2010 at Wat Yaida School. This photo is of my 5th grade class and me dressed up in our costumes. The classes that I taught, grades 5 and 6, made decorations, dressed up in costumes and went trick-or-treating around to the other classrooms. The teachers in the other rooms passed out candy and said "Happy Halloween" and the students said "trick-or-treat" and "thank you." The students were very into it. We had a toilet paper wrapping mummy contest and a costume contest. It was a great time. It was a fun cross cultural experience for the students because they were able to learn about Halloween and celebrate it.
