Photo Description	I took this photo on April 22, 2001 to share Earth Day with my 5th grade students in Samokov, Bulgaria. I wanted to show the students how to be good stewards to the earth and how to replenish resources that are often destroyed in their mountain town. We planted several trees by the river that day and the students loved it.
