Here, in 1966, the Volunteer is addressing the Supervisors and Principals' League in the Philippines, because I was assumed to know something because I was a Peace Corps Volunteer. Because of the trust placed in my abilities, I did read the several books seen at the base of the microphone, and convinced the audience of Supervisors and Principals that I actually did know something. Within the year, by June 1967, I was already teaching in the Bicol Teachers College's Graduate School of Education in Daraga, Albay, and addressing a Conference on Graduate Education in Legaspi City.
