Photo Description	I was a Health volunteer in Mbala, Zambia and Dakotah was a teacher in Monkey Bay, Malawi. We came from opposite sides of the USA--Washington state and Florida, to meet on a Christmas vacation in Mozambique. We wrote letters to communicate and managed to arrange to meet up with one another during breaks , even if it took a whole day or two of travels to see each other. We fell in love when writing these letters and really got to know one another very well...after a year of writing, we planned a 2 week vacation to South Africa that just confirmed our affection for one another. Two years after that trip when we both settled in the USA--we were married and now are expecting a child on the way. We thank our experiences in Peace Corps to our relationship and so many friendships that were formed overseas. We plan later in life to travel abroad and do service as a doctor/nurse combo now and would love to do Peace Corps again!
