Wade Chambers and Kendall Cox, Peace Corps Botswana. This photo was taken near Mopipi. We were on a trip up to the Okavango Delta. We met in the Peace Corps--my mom likes to say I traveled many miles to find my husband and that he was worth every mile. We've been married almost 19 years. We came home from Botswana with twins on the way, we just didn't know it (I had amoebic dysentery at the same time). I think of our kids (who just turned 18 and are seniors in high school) as my gifts from Africa. Our daughter has a Setswana name (Lesedi--sunlight) and is named after a friend's daughter there. Lesedi hopes to be a Peace Corps Volunteer after college. So to say that Peace Corps changed my life is a bit of an understatement!
