This was taken on Panglit Island, one of two islands included in Masinloc, Zambales, the town where I lived. Panglit is very small with no electricity and only a couple hundred inhabitants, most of whom depend on fishing for both a source of income and daily food. While their fathers and older brothers may spend an upwards average of 14hrs everyday on the ocean throwing and hauling nets, these boys blithely saw this green pile as their new jungle gym and wasted no time in creating a happily spent afternoon!
