The teacher, Miss Tan, is writing the words on the blackboard. The date, 6th June 1968, is on the board also. The Primary Sylabus recommends that children sit on the floor for oral pesentations. James Vol Hartwell, then 23 years old, had ridden his bycycle 5 miles to the school.
