This picture was taken the friday before Halloween, in my third grade English class in Armenia. I shared with the children the halloween tradition by having them make jack-o-lanterns at home with their family. Then, on the day of the Halloween lesson, I played a game where each child rolled a dice and picked a card with a body part. They then had to make a monster with as many body parts as the number they rolled. After they made their pictures I played the Monster Mash for them, and had them dance like a monster. I also brought candy and taught them to Trick-or-treat. In this picture they are showing off their monsters and making monster faces.
