Photo Description	This was taken in August 2010 on a visit back to my host community -- 10 years later. I was a Volunteer in Xichang in Sichuan province. I was walking by and this woman was very interested in my son -- it was typically the first time for many of the Chinese on my trip to see a foreign baby and they were very curious about him. The beads around her neck are Buddhist prayer beads and she was counting out her prayers as we approached -- this is typically something you only see elderly Chinese women doing these days.
