Photo Description	This photograph of Chris (on the left against the back wall) meeting with Omanis was taken by a Volunteer while on a field trip in Oman. Also in the photo is Abdulla from 1977-79. Three men were Peace Corps Volunteers with the Department of Antiquities, Ministry of National Heritage, assisting with archaeology and historic preservation. Abdullah was an Omani employee at Antiquities and was probably acting as our interpreter on this trip. The most likely year is 1978. We rarely dressed in full Omani drag so this must have been a special occasion.
