Photo Description	In a large country like Niger, all staff assumed broad responsibilities when traveling around the country. I, the agricultural staff member, was visiting the Tahoua area and stopped to visit with a Volunteer in health and childcare. I accompanied her on a visit to a village compound. At some point, a young girl was bathing her baby sibbling with some oversight by the Volunteer. I was struck by the motherly care that the child immediately assumed. I asked the others to step aside so that I could take a photo. Looking now at the photo, her motherly responsibility still seem evident to me.
